Work-Life Balance

As a mom, I find it hard to focus on the things that I really want to, like spending time with my family, while having a full-time job. With COVID, it was difficult to miss work due to illness and then quarantine for an extended period, especially with all five of us affected. I discovered that working from home could be beneficial in my career field. However, as the world continued to evolve and COVID brought about numerous changes, my family and I had to learn to pivot and be extraordinarily flexible. During these times, I realized that I could slightly alter my path to create more time for the things I love - my family, self-care, and still contribute to my career field. Achieving a healthy work-life balance is challenging, but once you make it a habit, it's amazing! You wake up feeling more relaxed and have things to look forward to in your day.
