How Music Helped Me Overcome Grief & Losing My Father.

In 2021 I experienced the loss of my father, and many more life changes to follow. During such times of major life change, it can begin to feel like "nothing will be the same again." I found myself seeking my "constant" "familiar" and I was not finding any sense of it at all. Which is where music itself stepped in to help me in my transformation out of grief, and back into forward movement in my life. I believe in the transformative power of music and in meaningful dialogue. My mission is to create a space where we can connect and grow and heal through shared experience with music. If you’re passionate about using music, concerts, playlists, playing, singing or anything within the realm of song and sound as a medium for personal development and fostering genuine connections, let's get talking! I offer group video calls (4 participants) for one hour each. These conversations are available to those who are, similarly, using music as a way to transform their own story. So, let's share these songs and stories! I would love to know, and learn who you are listening to, I look forward to all of the stories, and new songs that we will share together. Let's live, through our love of music. Photos featured: Myself in Seattle Washington, where I went to see Japanese Jazz pianist, Hiromi. My mother, father, and I in Santa Cruz CA when I was a baby.
